23:
How do I exclude the author or year from my citations? |
Answer: If you wish to edit an in-text citation do the following:
Click in the citation in the body of the text you would like to modify.
Reference Manager 12 in Word 2007: Go to the Reference Manager 12 tab and choose the "Edit Citation(s)" command.
Reference Manager 10/11 in Word 2007: Go to the Add-Ins tab and choose "Reference Manager > Edit Citation."
2000/XP/2003: Go to the "Tools" Menu and choose "Reference Manager > Edit Citation."
On the left-hand side of this window, you should see the citation you selected highlighted. If it is not the right citation, please find the correct one in the list and select it. On the right are the options to Exclude Year and Exclude Author. Put a check in the box next to the option you need. Click OK. The citation should update with the author or year excluded, as you selected. |
